Strawberry & Pomegranate Salad with Harrogate Blue (V)
Such a simple salad recipe, full of fresh, fruity flavours it makes the perfect Summer salad. Enjoy with either our Charlie & Ivy's Lemon & Poppy Seed Dressing, or for a lighter dish try our Blackberry & Thyme Balsamic Bread Dipper.
INGREDIENTS
Charlie & Ivy's Lemon & Poppy Seed Dressing or Charlie & Ivy's Blackberry & Thyme Balsamic Bread Dipper
A punnet or two of Strawberries
Seeds from a Pomegranate
Harrogate Blue from Shepherds Purse
A few handfuls of Watercress
A sprinkling of lightly toasted mixed seeds of your choice (we like sunflower, sesame, pumpkin)
So easy to put together, it doesn't really need a recipe!
Make sure your strawberries are hulled and sliced into bite sized pieces. Crumble over the Harrogate Blue, and toss though the Watercress. Drizzle over the dressing or bread dipper and add a sprinkling of Pomegranate seeds and toasted mixed seeds, and it's good to go!
If blue cheese isn't your thing try replacing with a crumbling of feta.
