JOIN US FOR SUPPER
Join us for our exclusive ‘Meet the Producer’ Supper Club Event.
There is something amazing about the combination of great food and great company. When the two come together it really is something quite special, and in celebration of our 10th anniversary we’re inviting you to join us for an exclusive meet the producer event, hosted by ourselves and Gilly at The Cook's Place in Malton.
We have planned four seasonal supper clubs, and you can join us at one of the three remaining, with only 12 tickets available event per event for a night of food, drink and fantastic local produce. You’ll even meet one of the producers behind the scenes of the food you’re eating.

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
Across the seasons we will come together to host these exclusive evenings with a local guest producer and enjoy a mouth-watering menu, using their local and award-winning products as the stars of the show.
Pulling up a stool at the Chef’s Table, you will enjoy the company of the people behind the food and drink, be entertained by their stories, and leave inspired. All whilst enjoying a delicious, seasonal three-course menu, packed with local produce, cooked by the brilliant Gilly, The Cook’s Place chef and tutor, and your host for the evening.
MORE ABOUT OUR JULY EVENT
Our summer event will feature our guest host, Kathryn Bumby, founder The Yorkshire Pasta Company, a small family business located not too far away from Malton, the food capital of the North. Since they launched five years ago, as the first sustainable pasta brand, they have been winning awards, and their premium, bronze died pastas can be found in over 450 independent shops, and appear on some incredible restaurant menus across Yorkshire, as well as up and down the UK.
Guests will enjoy authentic, award winning flavour from them, along with a host of seasonal food and drink from local food and drink producers. Summer really is the best time to explore a bounty of local food and drink.
Tickets for the supper cost £65 per person and each event is exclusively limited to 12 people.

Our first supper club in May was a sell out! Our first guest producer was Justin Staal, founder of Staal Smokehouse, a small artisan smokehouse located just outside the beautiful market town of Beverley. A family run affair, where Justin and Georgina Staal take great pride and care in producing mouth-watering smoked products.
Our guests enjoyed their delicious smoked produce, and heard all about their fifteen year journey. A tale of travels, and the most amazing of food along the way!

ABOUT OUR CHARITY
Each supper club will support our charity, HOPING York, a pop-up street kitchen who pitch up in York each week to serve freshly made, home-cooked meals to the homeless and those in food poverty. As a number of local producers will be generously donating food and drink for this event, Charlie & Ivy’s will be able to donate all the proceeds after costs to this amazing charity.
YOUR HOSTS
Adam & Jennie Palmer, as founders of Charlie & Ivy’s, will join up with Gilly to inspire you with the award-winning artisan products you know and love. With a family history deep rooted in the love of food, we believe it brings people together, enjoying not only the food but sharing stories too.
Enjoying our 10th anniversary, our family business is located on our farm in the heart of Yorkshire (just a hop, skip and jump away from Malton). Ten years into our journey, we continue to produce all our Bread Dippers, Dressings, Marinades and Mayonnaise in-house, using Great Taste Award two-star cold pressed Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil.
Gilly, first name only, everyone in Malton knows Gilly! Super talented, food is her passion, and she is a true ambassador of Yorkshire’s food and drink. For many a year she was the right-hand woman of Rosemary Shrager, before setting up Malton’s only cookery school.
Gilly has played a huge part in the success of Malton becoming Yorkshire’s food capital, and Malton Food Lovers Food Festival would not be the same without her cooking alongside the celebrity chefs. Her relaxed, informal and friendly style is perfect for our intimate supper clubs.
